Some tunes manage to be memorable though - like "UGH!" or "She's American"- but the bulk of this is ripe with mehness. It's extremely polished, that's for sure, but very often the pretty sounds support nothing but their prettiness. Pop wearing its shallowest and most boring gear. Friendly pop rock that AbsolutePunk thinks is "timeless" (again), but this time there is more diversity. It's pretty much what you expect to hear from a 1975 album. The actual title is "I like it when you sleep for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it" (Which is, yes, an even worse title). But this? THIS is how you learn from your mistakes. I had such low expectations coming into this because of how boring their debut was. Am in shock by how incredible this album is. To? Easily a couple steps up from their debut, which I also liked.
